Trivia: Carey Grant is listed as the #2 male actor and Audrey Hepburn as the #3 female actor on the AFI list of the top screen actors of all time. Audrey Hepburn was 32 years old and Cary Grant 59 when the film was made, so Grant requested that the script be changed to show her pursuing him. Audrey Hepburn won the BAFTA award for Best Actress for her role in this movie. Grant and Hepburn both received Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture Actor in a Musical/Comedy. The musical score by Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini was nominated for an Academy Award. The ski resort scenes at the beginning of the movie were filmed in Megeve, France.
