A group of bandits attacks the capital of the Ming Dynasty, attempting to dethrone the emperor (Li Tsu Liu). To the bandits' delight, the Emperor plans to commit suicide along with his daughter (Nancy Yen) but she escapes and teams up with a local butcher who is exceptionally skilled in the martial arts. Together the two plot revenge against the bandits.

Trivia: Actor Carter Wong used his martial arts skills to train the Royal Hong Kong Police Department.
